Pastor Gary Craft was born in Iowa and at the age of nine trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour at the Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield, Iowa.   God called and he surrendered to the gospel ministry in November of 1968.  He married his childhood sweetheart and pastor’s daughter in 1971.  Since graduating from Bible college in 1972, he has pastored churches in the United States and military churches overseas. 

He has also served as Professor of Missions and Bible at West Coast Baptist College while on furlough.  Together, Pastor and Mrs. Craft have served our U.S. military, civilians and their families for more than 22 years. The Craft's have a special place in their hearts for the military and their families and a love for the German people.   It is with great joy and anticipation that they continue their ministry in their newest work, Heritage Baptist Church in the Kaiserslautern Military Community.
